Local pediatrician winsnational writing honor NATICK, MASSACHUSETTS, March 16, 2004 Robert Lindeman, M.D., Ph.D. of Natick Pediatrics P.C. is the recipient of the prestigious Gold award from the Parenting Publications of America (PPA), a national trade association of regional parenting publications. The honor included two of Dr. Lindeman's columns that appeared in "Today's Parent" magazine and which were submitted by the publisher in the editorial category "Family Matters." The award was announced at the PPA Annual Convention in Fort Worth, TX last week. The local pediatrician's prize-winning columns were entitled ""Why Does My Toddler Hit Me?" and "Ear Infections and Watchful Waiting." A panel of 25 judges reviewed the entries. Of Dr.Lindeman's work, one judge proclaimed: "Eureka! Here's a doctor who answers questions in language anyone can understand. With a Ph.D. and an M.D., Robert Lindeman could bury the reader in polysyllabic explanations and analogies. Instead, he writes with an uncommonly common touch a patient and an editor's dream." Dr. Lindeman maintains a pediatric practice at the MetroWest Medical Center's Natick campus, with a specialty in pediatric pulmonology. His winning articles can be found on the Natick Pediatrics web site, www.natickpediatrics.com.
